Abstract:
This staircase is conceptualized in a manner that, it becomes a value addition in the over all aesthetics of the interior design of the house. Its design emphasizes upon the overall minimalist attitude of this house. Wooden treads of the staircase are suspended from main steel beam with the help of stainless steel cables. These cables form a surface which has got certain aesthetic value as well as they serves the purpose of railing also. Tensile cable is connected with custom made turn-buckle joint with the help of L and Key hardware. Tensile strength of this joint is tested on Universal Testing Machine (UTM) before execution.
