Intention
Socio-cultural interaction with public through arts installation
Abstract
This exercise in installation art is carried out as part of a public art event called Ahmedabadi Encounters' 05. Main concept of the festival is to generate an awareness of new creative ways in which people could explore public space. It allows a social, cultural and spatial dialogue between the artists work and the audience towards the different facets of the Ahmedabad city. The idea is to create a landscape in some part of the city using garbage (city garbage) and plaster bandages.
