Introduction
The knowledge Server is a digital archive of the database compiled by employees in the office over a period of time.
Scope
The primary intention is to develop a structured database on the central server which is easily accessible via intranet for project reference work.
Limitations
Information management is a crucial task. Uploading and downloading methods impose certain limitations in order to develop user interface.
Methodology
A unique customized system is developed to overcome the complexities of information browsing. An elaborate data compilation is carried out among all the employees. This compilation is then classified into different subjective categories. In parallel to this, a simple and easily navigable search engine is developed in order to access the structured database. A simple and user friendly interface with multiple search options is also designed with the help of open-source utilities,
