Client

Introduction
This is a post occupancy evaluation study for an IT corporate client based in Hyderabad. This building is completed and had occupied by the client in the year 2004. This study is a self evaluation initiated by CnT in order to gain further insights about the spatial, functional, technical, and socio-cultural aspects of the building once it is occupied.

Scope
Larger aims of a post occupancy evaluation study are to understand the evaluation of design proposition, changes in building after it is built, and quality of life inside the building.

Limitations
An evaluation is conducted after approximate by four years of occupancy. Critical assessments are conducted with the protocols established by the client/ corporate administration. A majority of the observations are derived from questionnaire filled up by the employees of the firm.

Methodology
There are project specific established methods to address post occupancy evaluation. A given project is evaluated by assessing three major areas, namely process evaluation, functional evaluation and technical evaluation. Each of these areas deals with specific content and focus groups; ranging from architects, clients and consultants to end users. Critical observations, personal interviews and a brief questionnaire is a part of the adopted methodology in order to perform qualitative-analytical assessment of the evaluation. Diagramming, mapping, time lapse photography and photomontage, collage are a few of the representation techniques used for the presentation.

Inferences
The inferences are derived from feedbacks of questionnaire and documentation processes. All most 80% of the users are satisfied with the spatial qualities of the building. Grand staircase and the break out community spaces provided along the circulation have provided the value additions in the overall spatial experience of the building. Such inferences are used as design guidelines for the future project office projects.
